How many times have you beautiful ladies asked me about how I tie my turbans? Well, it’s finally here! I decided to do a turban tutorial of three different styles that you can customize for different events. Now, you should all know by now that making videos scares me, but see, I’m trying!
Y’all know my main turban look is pretty consistent; as you can see in the middle picture, I like my poof in the back and the top laying flat. But sometimes, I like to mix it up, whether it’s for an event, a night out, or just a specific outfit that I’m wearing. Some of these looks I just learn as I go, and I make them work for me. Like I said, it’s nice to have my favorite look, but sometimes I want to try something different.
I hope these looks give you some inspiration about how you can find turban styles that match your look no matter what the occasion! Enjoy the video!
The most important things to remember when watching a turban tutorial:
- Make the style your own! Don’t worry about getting it perfectly like mine. Even when I tie my scarves, they don’t always come out the same and I have to play with them to get them how I want. It’s a trial and error process.
- Use your own scarves that match your style.
- Don’t be afraid to accessorize; I love hoop earrings!
- You can layer your scarves however you want. I like to have a “poof” under my turbans to make them bigger, but not everyone does. So customize my tutorial and do whatever works for you.
- Have fun!!
