When I first found out that I was having a girl, I was so excited because the first thing that popped into my head was that I was going to have a “mini me.” This ended up being true in more ways than I like! On the other hand, I was actually a little worried that Diari wouldn’t care about fashion because, growing up, I was a “tomboy” and hated everything but sweatpants and t-shirts. Can you believe? To my delight though, Diari loves fashion. I didn’t realize how much she was aware of her style until she went shoe shopping with her dad one day. Daddy picked a pair of sneakers for her to try on and she refused. She walked away, only to come back a few minutes later with the pair she wanted to try on. Needless to say, I was shook.

Mommy Daughter Outfits – Our Look

For this mommy-daughter style, I really wanted to get out of my comfort zone and try a combination I never did before. I have seen the midi skirt look with boots several times, but I always felt that it wasn’t for me. I finally decided to take a chance. Here, I used black tights and a sweater to complete my look because it is still a bit cold outside.
