The Bradley Hotel
The Bradley Hotel is a stunning boutique hotel that looks like a work of art but welcomes you in like a family home. The girls and I got to enjoy a stay in the heart of Fort Wayne in this lovely hotel curated by Vera Bradley under the Provenance Hotels collection. Throughout the hotel, you can see elements of Vera Bradley such as in the bold patterns and the bright, inviting colors. But somehow, with all of those colors, there’s cohesion all throughout and you feel like you’re living in artwork. The Bradley made wallpaper looks so effortlessly beautiful that I started thinking about where I could put it in my own house. It successfully combines the charm of the Midwest with the modern design you would hope to find in a new hotel. We were amazed during our whole stay by the decor, discovering something new every time we walked through the lobby. I can’t say this enough – whether you’re already visiting Fort Wayne or you’re looking for a quiet Midwest vacation spot, I highly recommend you enjoy your stay at The Bradley.

The Rooms
The rooms at The Bradley are their own works of art. They give vibes of cozy and simple with pops of bold textures and patterns. I felt so relaxed the entire stay and I could tell a lot of thought went into making the rooms feel like you were a guest in someone’s home with all the perks of staying in a hotel. The bathrooms were luxurious with stone and glass elements all throughout. The showers were amazing!! However, as someone with kids, I want to stress that families should ask for a room with a tub! The great thing is The Bradley will work with you to accommodate whatever your specific needs are. I also want to shoutout the fact that The Bradley really highlights the talents of the Fort Wayne community – the artwork in the rooms were designed by local artist, Julie Wall.
Food at The Bradley
As a foodie, good eats are a big part of my travel experience! Bonus points go to a hotel that can provide good eats right on site and The Bradley did not disappoint! I have to give a big shoutout to Arbor Fort Wayne, which is located right on the main floor of the hotel. Everything we ate tasted delicious; it was fresh, well prepared, and always hit the spot. Arbor is definitely a highlight of The Bradley and was a high point of our foodie experience in Fort Wayne. We did also get to explore other local Fort Wayne cuisine in the heart of downtown during our stay. Two of our favorites were BakerStreet and Salvatori’s. I’m happy to say, I had one of the best steak-au-poivres I’ve ever had at BakerStreet! And shamelessly, we ordered pretty much the entire Salvatori’s menu lol – no regrets!
Fort Wayne Itinerary
We were happy to find that Fort Wayne has something for everyone. Whether you’re an art fanatic, a mom with two littles, or an outdoorsy soul, there’s an activity (or a list of activities) for you.
Make sure you check out the Fort Wayne Public Art Trail! You’ll be impressed by the sculptures, murals and other art pieces you’ll see scattered around downtown. It’s a great way to connect and learn about the Fort Wayne community.
For outdoor adventures, we were really excited to learn about the Fort Wayne Outdoor Pass. It’s basically a mobile passport that makes it super easy to explore the beautiful nature Fort Wayne has to offer. You can enjoy different hiking, biking, and paddling adventures. And you can get information via text or email so no app needed!
If you do nothing else while in Fort Wayne, Promenade Park is a must see (for adults and kids)! Although relatively new, the Park shows so much of Fort Wayne’s culture, art, and history. And there are so many activities to enjoy with the family. You will find attractions like the tree-top canopy trail and kids’ canal and you can even jump on a riverboat cruise or rent a kayak for some fun on the water.
Pro-Tip: Visit Fort Wayne has access to all the information you need as you plan your trip!
